Rusty Towell Dr. Rusty Towell

Dr. Rusty Towell’s current research emphasis is on molten salt cooled advanced reactors. He has participated in research at Brookhaven National Laboratory (the PHENIX collaboration), several projects at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (the E866, E906 and E1039 collaborations) and at Los Alamos National Laboratory (most recently the NIFFTE collaboration). On the Abilene Christian University campus, he is the director of the Nuclear Energy eXperimental Testing (NEXT) lab (acunextlab.org).
